Our FGIS community lost a friend and supporter recently; Phil Dodge passed away on December 22, 2022 after a series of health issues. Phil was a fixture at the corner seat of the bar, the prime seat to enjoy the seisiúns for which he was always present. A voracious music lover, Phil was a big supporter of local music, Irish/Celtic and otherwise, often attending gigs for local artists all over the state. He enjoyed playing chess as well when he could find an opponent willing to be beaten. As our seisiúns start up for 2023 we will greatly miss the good humor and attentive support of our friend Phil Dodge.
